Vinemont man charged with selling meth

Zackery Allen Sparks / Cullman Police Department

GOOD HOPE - A Vinemont man was arrested on Monday, Nov. 6 in Good Hope and charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Zackery Allen Sparks, 26, was arrested by the Cullman Police Department (CPD). According to the CPD, at the time of the arrest, officers Trey Higginbotham and Cole Kelley recovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Sparks was also charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

The CPD said the two distribution warrants stemmed from an undercover operation during which Sparks allegedly sold methamphetamine to Sgt. Chris Thomason and officers Higginbotham, Dustin Colburn and Kelley.

Sparks was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center and has since made bond.
