Elks on the ground in Texas

Members of the Cullman Elks Lodge drove all night and arrived Saturday morning in Stafford, Texas, a suburb of Houston. They are at an Elks Lodge, 3 miles from the flooding. They are cooking all day and evening for local flood victims, using food purchased by Cullman citizens who donated cash and gift cards. Here we see Patrick James and Gwen Parker cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for the soon-to-arrive lunch crowd.

  • This is the Cullman Elks trailor used to haul food to Houston.
